Walt Disney World on Thursday gave us a new look at what the Riviera Resort will look like when it opens this fall. A video posted to the Disney Vacation Club Facebook page shows a rendering of the hotel, followed by the phrase “Inspired by Europe, Imagined by Disney.” The short video ends with a shot of the logo for the resort.
The logo features a golden Mickey head surrounded by a swirly design.
The video gives us a short look at the entrance with more detail than before.
Disney had previously released a still photo of an artist rendering of the 12-story tower being constructed at the front of the Caribbean Beach property near Buena Vista Drive.
The resort’s design is inspired by the European grandeur Walt Disney experienced in his travels along Europe’s Mediterranean coastline. The resort will be one of several that will have a station to offer access to Disney’s Skyliner when it opens.
I wish they had a more elaborate pool. The hotel itself looks very elegant from the renderings they have released. Curious to see how much money per point it will cost to buy into these DVCs.
