Maybe I’m completely blind, but is the hatbox ghost even in the WDW attraction?? Not sure why they sell so much merchandise with the hatbox ghost on it when the WDW doesn’t even have him.
I can’t even remember. I agree with your statement– when I see merch like that, I always think: “Stop trying to make Hatbox Ghost happen. It isn’t going to happen.” (At least, people aren’t going to go crazy for it like they seem to think.)
Totally agree Melanie B. How can you so strongly promote something on merchandise that doesn’t even exist in your park?? Just strange to me. Of course us Disney fanatics know what it is, but your average Disney fan would be clueless.
I really love all of this new merchandise at WDW. Is it possible to buy any of it online or must one go to the parks?
Check the Shop Disney Parks app
Not a fan of this “chibi” Haunted Mansion style, and it’s all over the new stuff. Would not buy the sweatshirt for just that reason. Would not buy most of this stuff. Big winner: Hitchhiking Ghost Doom Buggy Ornament. That’s awesome. Would like to see:
More Leota or Little Leota designs
Designs based off “grand ballroom”
Singing busts (not chibi-style)
Simple design of Mansion building (less is more)
Also, why is “Hatbox Ghost” on the “Ghost Will Follow You Home” pin? Should be one of the hitchhiking ghosts.
I agree! I’m not at all a fan of this chibi style Haunted Mansion ether, If I had to take a guess as to why they made the HM characters chibi styled is probably to appeal to younger kids and make them less afraid of the ride which in my opinion is BS but I’m just guessing.
Saw some things two days ago at Disney Springs that are not available online. Is there still a phone number to Merchandise to order what’s actually in the stores?
Nope
