Disney Signature Experiences, a newly minted division of The Walt Disney Company, has named Jeff Vahle as their new President. As President, Vahle will oversee Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, and Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.
Vahle takes over for Anthony Connelly who was only at the helm for a few months since Karl Holz retired last fall. It seems likely that Connelly was only caretaker President as Disney restructured, creating the new Disney Signature Experiences division.
Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products had this to say about Vahle:
“There is tremendous opportunity to deliver magical Disney vacation experiences in new and exciting ways. Jeff is a talented leader with a strong track record of success and I’m excited to see what he and the team will accomplish together.”
Jeff Vahle is a 28-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company, having joined in 1990. He will continue in his current role of overseeing the Global Facilities Operations and Sourcing and Procurement teams.
We told you earlier this year about the three new Disney Cruise Line ships joining their fleet, so Vahle will be overseeing the Disney Cruise Line family grow up from four ships to seven.
