The Walt Disney World website was updated with changes to the operating schedule for Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kali River Rapids, which recently underwent a three-month refurbishment, will now open at 9am each day, an hour after Disney’s Animal Kingdom opens.
The delayed opening is currently set to continue through mid-July. Disney has not announced operating hours beyond that point yet.
While no reason has been given for the daily delayed opening, it is likely due to guest demand in the early morning being low.
