Puss in Boots has taken over Schwab’s Pharmacy in Universal Studios Florida, turning the ice cream shop into the “Milk Bar” in honor of the new Puss in Boots film. This fun little overlay also brings 3 brand new specialty milkshakes, each themed to one of the characters from the film. We couldn’t wait to give these new shakes a try, so we decided to order all 3.
A decal on the sign outside advertises the Milk Bar and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.”
Puss in Boots and other characters from the film are featured on the windows. “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” and “in theaters Christmas” advertise the release of the new film.
The shop’s regular signage has been covered in more Milk Bar-themed signs. Maybe this is a preview that we could see even more overlays in this area in the future.

At first, we didn’t really notice too much Puss in Boots overlay inside the ice cream shop, but something caught our eye on one of the walls. Black-and-white pictures of Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, and Perrito have replaced some of the framed images on the walls. They almost blend in at first glance.
Strangely, not all of the images are sized right to the frames. It’s still a fun addition that we can appreciate. Now, let’s check out the new shakes!
There are three different milkshakes, themed to Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, and Perrito. Each one combines different flavors and unique toppings. We always love themed food!
We’ve reviewed a lot of specialty items in the parks and we were extremely pleased with our experience here at Schwab’s Pharmacy. These shakes look even better than we expected. Now it’s time for the taste testing!
Kitty Softpaws Tuxedo – $9.99
Cookies and cream ice cream, hot fudge, Oreo crumbs, with white chocolate paws
Our first reaction was “wow!” when we sipped the Kitty Softpaws Tuxedo. This has a delicious combination of cookies and cream and fudge. This is similar to a “black and white” shake, with a strong chocolate fudge taste that’s complimented with the lighter cookies and cream flavor. The Oreo cookie crumbs and whipped cream mix in purrfectly. Two white chocolate paws top it all off to complete this specialty shake. Each sip was better than the last.
This was the winner of the three shakes and will be the first one we return for.
Puss in Boots Cafe Con Leche – $9.99
Coffee and dulce de leche ice cream with chocolate covered espresso beans and caramel
The Puss in Boots Cafe con Leche shake was a close second place after the Kitty Softpaws Tuxedo. This is a great choice for the coffee lovers like myself. If you like frappes, this is even better. The cold and creamy coffee ice cream pairs perfectly with the caramel and dulce de leche. Even if you’re not a coffee drinker, the caramel, Oreo cookie crumbs, and whipped cream make this a sweet shake. The chocolate covered espresso beans are an excellent way to top this Puss in Boots Cafe con Leche.
We absolutely adore the tiny little sword stuck in the whipped cream, too.
Perrito’s Minty PB & Chip – $9.99
Mint chip ice cream with peanut butter, crushed Oreo, sprinkles, and a dog bone
Fans of mint and chocolate will love Perrito’s Minty PB & Chip shake. This almost tastes like an Andes Mint, which a strong mint chocolate chip taste and a whole lot of chocolate Oreo crumbs. The peanut butter is layered in the shake, so you will get occasional bursts of peanut butter sauce, but the shake is mainly chocolate and mint.
The chocolate dog bone cookie on top is almost like a compressed Oreo cookie. This cookie is crunchy and has the Oreo cookie taste in a denser form. We would buy these little cookies if they were sold individually.
We also love the fact that each cup has a “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” sticker on the cup.
We highly recommend all three of these new specialty milk shakes from the Milk Bar at Schwab’s Pharmacy. The Haagen-Dazs ice cream is extremely high quality and these shakes are much more affordable than the specialty shakes at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. Watch our full video review below!
