It’s another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort and we’re back and ready to check out everything that’s new. We started our morning wandering around CityWalk and spotted a fun new addition to the Christmas tree in the Universal Legacy Store.
The Kong arm from the Summer Tribute Store has found a new home in the Universal Legacy Store, holding the retro attractions tree.
The collectible medallion machine got a little update. The DeLorean collectible medallion has been replaced with the “Save the Clock Tower” design.
Universal’s Great Movie Escape is opening December 9 and tickets are on sale now. We are really looking forward to these new “Back to the Future” and “Jurassic World” escape rooms opening!
The water taxi service is suspended while the dock undergoes some refurbishment. There are buses available while the water taxi is closed.
This Earl the Squirrel pillow is absolutely adorable. The plaid is perfect for winter and Earl looks so cute on the front. We found this in CityWalk for $45.
There’s a lot of great shopping in CityWalk. We found these Jim Shore Grinch ornaments for $18 each.
If you’ve retired your Halloween Horror Nights flannel for the season, there’s a new one perfect a Grinch! This looks so comfortable.
There are custom Airpod cases on the U Design kiosks now. There’s only two designs, both featuring Spider-Man, so we hope to see new styles in the future.
There are several new magnets available for purchase, but we didn’t see the designs on the U Design kiosks. These are $12 each and available in the Universal Studios Store.
The Hello Kitty store is getting new flooring, but there is a cute sign on the door informing guests that the store is open and to use another entrance.
Schwab’s Pharmacy has gotten a Puss in Boots overlay for the new movie. It’s really cute and there are three new specialty milkshakes.
These themed milk shakes are delicious and come with toppings like white chocolate paws and a chocolate bone. We have a full review for all three of these shakes coming soon!
A few more monsters have joined the festivities in the 5 & 10. The spooky Christmas decor with the monsters looks so good in here.
There’s a Gremlins Loungefly wallet available in the 5 & 10. The 3D glasses are my favorite part.
The snack stand that used to be in front of Cafe la Bamba has been completely removed. The construction walls are gone and so is the stand. This might not be as iconic as the Bone Chillin’ Beverages kiosk, but we did like the pretzels they had here.
A Puss in Boots photo op has been set up at the entrance of KidZone. Don’t forget, it’s only a matter of time before most of KidZone closes permanently.
Patrick is looking perfect for the season. The tree skirt with ornaments is so cute.
It’s a beautiful, quiet morning here in the park. Perfect for walking around and taking photos.
You can catch the Mannheim Steamroller concert this weekend and next weekend. The concert is free and takes place on the stage in front of Hollywood Rip Ride Rock It.
Things are progressing at the new attraction at the entrance of the park. This is the entrance area to the rumored Villain-Con attraction.
We anticipate more Minions themed merchandise will be arriving with the new Villain-Con attraction and rumored Minions Cafe. These new shirts were spotted in Islands of Adventure Trading Company.
Just when we thought we had reviewed every dessert, we spot a Grinch cake in the case at Croissant Moon Bakery. We will be back to try this one.
There’s a photographer set up near the entrance of Seuss Landing. This is a great place to take pictures, so having a photographer here is a great idea.
All Grinch meet and greet times are gone for the day. The sign out front encourages guests to try again tomorrow. Good luck.
There are a bunch of new Halloween patches available in the All Hallows Eve Krampus Boutique in the Lost Continent. Be sure to check out this store for all your Halloween and spooky Christmas needs.
The merchandise displays have been removed from the VelociCoaster store in the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. This is a welcome change that allows guests to see the Nursery easily. There’s also better crowd flow without so many displays in this area.
This beautiful new FuelRod machine has appeared in the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. This is a good location and the wrap is much appreciated.
Dudley Do-Right’s Rip Saw Falls is still under refurbishment. We can see the crew working and there were even a few people on the drop.
The construction walls in Marvel came down recently, but it looks like there are some a few more last minute updates happening. This area looks really nicely refreshed. We heard a new Chomp Hot Dogs stand will return sometime next month, too.
The window in the cotton candy stand has gotten updated and now you can watch the fresh cotton candy being made. We highly recommend this delicious cotton candy. We still miss the old days of cotton candy at Honk Honkers, though.
