For a holiday treat a step above the milkshakes and cookies, The Hollywood Brown Derby is serving a new Winter Signature Dessert.
Winter Signature Dessert – $13.00
Pumpkin mousse, milk chocolate Cremeux, chocolate pecan cookie, vanilla sauce, Chantilly cream, and a pecan crumble
Sadly the pumpkin mousse is not that sweet. We would’ve preferred to have a little more sweetness, and instead there was a light sour aftertaste, which was offputting.
The vanilla sauce and Chantilly cream were delicious and made this dessert so much more decadent. The chocolate pecan cookie on the bottom of the mousse was on the hard side, and made using a fork difficult. Fortunately the pecan crumble was very sweet and delicious.
Our only real criticism lay with the not-so-sweet pumpkin mousse, but this is otherwise a nice dessert to try when you visit The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
