Red Velvet Mini Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Icing – $4.75

holiday-hearth-food-28

This was very tasty and moist. It wasn’t too heavy on the red velvet and had plenty of sweet cream cheese icing.

The Christmas sprinkles add a nice crunch that complements the texture well.

Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie – $5.50

holiday-hearth-food-21

For $5.50, this isn’t bad, but you would buy it more for the novelty of eating a Spaceship Earth-shaped cookie more than anything else.

holiday-hearth-food-40

The salted caramel filling was good, but the cookie itself was kind of dry. The glitter sprinkles got everywhere, and the caramel will stick in your teeth.

Snowball Cookies – $4.00

holiday-hearth-food-18

This is a light cookie with a decent crunch to it. Like all snowball cookies, they are covered in powdered sugar.

holiday-hearth-food-35

We could definitely taste the almonds, which makes us think the batter didn’t get it all mashed up, and there may have been chunks. We weren’t big fans and felt you could get something similar at the grocery store.

Peppermint Bark â€“ $6.50

holiday-hearth-food-30

This was very chewy, and the bark fell apart as we ate it. The peppermint stuck to our teeth.

holiday-hearth-food-36

The white chocolate flavor was good, and the peppermint taste was strong, but overall, this was just okay.

Mouse Crunch made with M&M’S chocolate candies  – $6.50

holiday-hearth-food-33

This was not worth it. It’s just a mix of caramel popcorn and chocolate-covered pretzels.

holiday-hearth-food-34

The popcorn reminds us of the one served at Appleseed Orchard.

Maple Bûche de Noël: Maple Mousse and Cranberry rolled in Gingerbread Chiffon Cake – $5.00

Canada epcothoilday 8201

With maple mousse rolled in gingerbread chiffon cake with cranberry sauce and pecan crumble, this isn’t only the best yule log we tried, but one of the best things we had at the whole Festival. Get it!

Gingerbread Cookie – $3.00

2021-festival-of-the-holidays-gingerbread-man-4-6506623

The Gingerbread Cookie was slightly dry and tasted like he was left out.

2021-festival-of-the-holidays-gingerbread-man-7-5953356

The gingerbread taste is there but we just wish it would’ve been fresher. His little icing face and buttons are hard and crunchy.

Not a bad gingerbread cookie, but try to get one from a fresh batch.

Hot Cocoa (Non-Alcoholic)  â€“ $3.75

holiday-hearth-food-22

The hot cocoa is pretty watery and does not have a strong chocolate flavor. It was overall a bit weak.

*NEW* 3 Daughters Brewing Winter Spiced Lager, St. Petersburg, FL (5.1% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz. $9.50 for 12 oz.

From correspondence with 3 Daughters Brewing: “Light and crisp, this holiday classic is perfect for a ‘Winter’ in Florida. Aromas of orange peel spiced with cinnamon & ginger make this the ideal lager for a sunny holiday by the beach.”

*NEW* BrewDog Hoppy Christmas IPA, Columbus, OH (6.0% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.

From BrewDog: “Buckle up for this seasonal Simcoe sleigh ride. A fruity festive fellow that delivers an all out Blitzen of citrus flavor. You’ll find bright citrus of lemon and orange, light pine notes, crisp bitterness and rounded finish.”

*NEW* Wicked Weed Brewing Milk & Cookies Imperial Milk Stout, Asheville, NC (8.7% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.

Wicked Weed Brewing describes this beer as an “imperial stout with golden raisins, cinnamon, & vanilla.”

Cocoa Candy Cane: Hot Cocoa with Peppermint Schnapps  â€“ $12.50

holiday-hearth-food-23

This had a generous amount of alcohol. But like we said above, the hot cocoa was weak. It was just an average alcoholic hot cocoa with some peppermint added.

Cinnamon Apple Cider (Non-Alcoholic) – $3.75

appleseed-orchard4-2305022

This tastes almost exactly like apple juice. If you like your cider sweet, this is okay, but this is too sweet for our tastes.

appleseed-orchard5-3545924

This doesn’t taste much like cinnamon.
