The Pork Belly Mac n’ Cheese is absolutely amazing. It’s brand new this year and gives us a little holiday twist on our favorite mac. There is a plentiful amount of sweet potato pork belly hash on top, and the smell of the bourbon pecan sauce will hit you before you even take a bite. This gives all the Thanksgiving vibes with a lot of richness and a bit of sweetness.
There’s tons of crispy pork belly on top, and we may be tempted to choose this one over the Nashville mac. The Nashville is probably still the top dog here, but this dish brings a completely different flavor profile to the table, and we highly recommend you try it.
On a cold day when you’re feeling the holiday spirit, this mac and cheese is the way to go.
Nashville Mac n’ Cheese – $11.99

The Nashville Mac n’ Cheese could probably be considered a staple here at Universal Studios Florida as it comes back with every holiday season. We aren’t complaining — it’s fantastic.
It’s a hot, saucy dish, and the mac n’ cheese will eventually get overtaken by the flavor of the Nashville Hot chicken. We’re no experts when it comes to true Nashville Hot sauce, but this tasted more like General Tso’s chicken with a strong brown sugar taste. There’s a lot of heavy sweetness to the sauce as it competes to hold its own against the spice, but we absolutely loved the flavors.
Be sure you grab napkins, though, because you’re going to need them! Approach with caution if you aren’t a fan of hot, spicy foods. The mac n’ cheese was very creamy and paired well, but the chicken is the main focus here.
Golden Mac n’ Cheese – $11.99

The Golden Mac isn’t new to the menu, but we’ve never done a proper review for it, so what better time than now? If you’re not a fan of spicy, this is a much more mild and sweet version.
The bbq sauce is on the sweet side with a bit of a honey mustard taste. The sauce is delicious, but the sweet heat of the Nashville Mac will always have our hearts.
These are all filling meals that will leave you satisfied. Not only is it delicious, but the food truck lines are often shorter than the restaurants, making it a quick meal on the go. If you’re visiting Universal Studios Florida for the holidays, the San Francisco Food Truck offers a savory selection worth a visit.
