This year’s gingerbread display has opened at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. As usual, it’s a gingerbread castle, but instead of “Frozen” or “Cinderella” characters, it features gingerbread versions of Mickey and Minnie’s golden Fab 50 statues.
The castle is brown and white, with the white façade of “it’s a small world” behind it. The statues are in front. The “it’s a small world” façade honors the artwork of Mary Blair, which is featured throughout Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
A 50th anniversary medallion and golden ribbons are on the castle.
A sign lists all of the ingredients used to make the gingerbread display.
The Christmas trees around the castle feature stars, gingerbread men, and more.
This is the display’s 11th year, so it features 11 hidden five-legged goats.
A special 50th anniversary backdrop is next to the display for photos.
A sign at the treat stand explains the history of Mary Blair’s five-legged goat.
