Walt Disney World Hotel Bell Services Now Able to Hold Alcohol

Bell services at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can now hold alcohol deliveries and groceries.

We spoke to Cast Members at Disney’s Contemporary Resort about the service. Guests having alcohol delivered from services like Amazon, Total Wine & More, and Door Dash must be at bell services when the alcohol is dropped off to be able to present ID. Cast Members recommend following the delivery tracking so you can be at the counter at the time of delivery. If you miss the delivery, bell services cannot accept the alcohol.

Guests can also leave the alcohol (and other groceries) with bell services by handing it over themselves.

  1. Article title is misleading. They are still not able to hold the alcohol as the purchaser must be present for delivery to pick up. Holding the alcohol would be how they handle groceries, they take delivery and hold until you can come to pick up at Bell Services to pick up later.

“Cast Members recommend following the delivery tracking so you can be at the counter at the time of delivery. If you miss the delivery, bell services cannot accept the alcohol.”

  2. Previously they were able to accept and hold it whether you were present or not. We used to have our groceries including alcohol delivered and waiting before we even got to the resort, now we can’t do that anymore.
