Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Now Closed, Space Mountain Exit Moved in Preparation for TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom

The Space Mountain exit gift shop, Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., has closed for refurbishment to accommodate changes for the upcoming TRON Lightcycle / Run roller coaster. Exterior changes on the gift shop have been underway already; see our latest update here.

Guests exiting Space Mountain now leave out of a door to the left of the attraction’s entrance.

At this time, there is no scheduled reopening date for Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

  1. I hope they gut and renovate the TLPC building, that gift shop has smelled like moldy mushrooms for at least 10-years.

  2. If guests now exit on the left side of attraction entrance which used to be general line, where does lightning lane enter now (as I am assuming the people entering in the photo provided are in general line which moved to where lightning lane was previously)?

  3. Does anyone know if the change currently impacts people in wheelchairs? Is the new route accessible?
