Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is bringing to life another stunning The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, which is anticipated to open in 2023 at the former ESPN Club spot. The restaurant will be a table service restaurant and bakery that will offer both savory and sweet options.

Afternoon tea in this dreamy restaurant will bring a whole new feeling of Disney magic! Alongside the water’s edge of Disney Boardwalk, you’ll be able to enjoy cocktails, coffees, sweet treats, and ornate entrees. You can look over the current Broad Ripple Village menu or Carmel City Center menu.

  2. Hopefully they will bring back the chocolate peanut butter cake with fudge frosting! Was my favorite all time dessert but discontinued it many years ago and replaced with chocolate mousse cake.

  3. I am so excited to see this is coming! I live in Indiana and have eaten at the Carmel location. The decor is impeccable with each season and the food is wonderful. Of course the cakes are amazing, hopefully they will include their apple pie!

  4. so glad they are getting rid of that espn club. No more burgers and fries place. too crammed in there to eat in peace. Always loud and crazy. Not my idea of fun on vacation. It was like sitting at a huge bar. My kid hated it. This new place fits in with the boardwalk theme. espn club never did. if you want burgers go to big river grille. I like healthier options.
