The “Heartbeat of Freedom” fireworks tag returned to EPCOT for the Fourth of July this year. Due to COVID-19, the tag had not been performed since 2019, and this year was the first time it played after “Harmonious.” It previously played after “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” on Independence Day.

“Harmonious” took place as normal before the tag.
Plenty of patriotic symbolism and songs took over World Showcase Lagoon during the tag.
But there were also a ton of fireworks, some going much higher than those during “Harmonious.” Wherever the budget was cut during “Celebrate America,” it surely went here instead.
