Cast Members have begun training on the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom, which has been closed for over four years during the construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run.
No reopening date for Walt Disney World Railroad has been announced, but training is a good sign that it may be returning soon. During the closure, some sections of track have been replaced, and the Walter E. Disney engine was refurbished. It has since been used to test the updated track.

This is great news bc walking in the summer esp without any choice is a pita esp the hub is 100% sun! Also it is great bc my family loves trains as much as walt did it be good to see it in action. And finally if trains are back that means its that much closer to tron!
Gotta love the engineer in the locomotive cab with the beard and braid. Disney has gone “bad to the bone” with the Disney Look. Walt would love it.
