Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village will experience refurbishment work through October 2022.
Luckily, the construction, which will be able to be seen and heard at the resort during daytime hours, will not force any of the hotel’s amenities to close completely. The Survival of the Fittest Fitness Center, The Barbeque Pavilion, and the Disney Transportation bus stop area will all undergo refurbishment during this time, but will remain open to guests. In late summer, lobby overlook areas will close for construction, but only one will be closed at a time, leaving guests plenty of space to take in the view.
Construction is expected to conclude in the early part of October. Earlier this year, the Samawati Springs Pool underwent a refurbishment of its own.
