We ventured out tonight to EPCOT to see if we could get another look at the new Connections Cafe & Eatery, which officially opens on April 27, 2022. Luckily, we were successful and got a chance to try the new Bahn Mi Burger and Apple Pie Gelato Shake tonight!
Interior
The eatery features ample space and plenty of seating.
These tables have wireless charging capabilities for compatible phones.
You can order at the counter or mobile order (once the restaurant officially opens).
Soda, coffee, and iced tea are self-service.
Menu
Bahn Mi Burger – $11.99
Miso-marinated Gourmet Beef Blend, Pickled Vegetables, Sriracha Mayonnaise, Soft Sub Roll
This is definitely not a traditional Bahn Mi, but it was still pretty good.
The patty was a decent size, nice and juicy, and comes on a thick bun.
This sandwich was a little bit spicy but not hot. The siracha mayonnaise made it a little bit spicy.
We tasted American pickles in the sandwich and believed the other vegetables were also pickled.
The coleslaw was basic but fresh and certainly better than fast food coleslaw.
Apple Pie Gelato Shake – $7.29
As soon as you sip, you feel the fall season. It reminds us of pumpkin spice due to the strong cinnamon scent. We are back in October, ready for trick-or-treating and wearing huge, comfortable sweaters!
The shake was delicious, and we will gladly pass on the recommendation of the Cast Member who recommended it to us!
Earlier today, Connections Café soft opened at EPCOT. We were first in line to get some coffee, and then we reviewed one of the new liege waffles.

You can clearly see the forced exodus of Disney Imagineers with this mall foodcourt restaurant and the planned Polynesian DVC hotel. The brilliant Imagineers have been replaced by the Ramada Inn’s finest. All because Chapek forced loyal, longtime, extraordinarily talented Disney employees to move across the United States from California to the 3rd world state that is Florida. Chapek needs to be forced to resign. How he survived the board vote is beyond logic.
