Walt Disney Imagineering Shares Current Progress of TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney Imagineering shared a video on their official Instagram page showcasing the current construction progress of TRON Lightcycle / Run at the Magic Kingdom.

In the video, Assistant Construction Manager, Angela Wu, provides a close-up look at construction of the upcoming attraction.

She talks about how they are currently working on the canopy. It will have a “unique, graphic pattern” when you experience the attraction at night.

Wu was able to first experience TRON Lightcycle / Run over at Shanghai Disneyland. Then, she started working as an intern for Walt Disney Imagineering on TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom.

Just this morning, we shared how the tarp at the entrance of TRON was recently removed.

There is no current opening date for TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom.

  1. I can’t hardly wait for Tron/lightcycle run to be open next year! This will be my favorite ride!

  2. She started as an intern and now is a assistant construction manager? Really tells you about how long this project has taken.
