We stopped by the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Disneyland Park to try the new Cookies & Cream Funnel Cake.
Cookies & Cream Funnel Cake – $8.99
Chocolate Funnel Cake topped with Cookies & Cream Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, and Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Crumble
This is a run-of-the-mill funnel cake. It’s listed as a “chocolate funnel cake,” but it tastes the same as any other fried dough.
On its own, the ice cream is a fine treat, but it makes the funnel cake soggy and messy.
Each individual ingredient is decent, but it doesn’t come together very well.
The whole dish devolves into eating a bite of funnel cake, a bite of ice cream, a bite of whipped cream, and a bite of oreo.
Overall, with so many excellent treats at Disneyland, we will pass on this funnel cake from Hungry Bear next time.
