Gideon’s Bakehouse posted on their Instagram the other day that a specialty item of theirs will now be a permanent staple on their menu — the Rainbow Crunch Cake.

This cake was formerly a limited edition item at Gideon’s. But now, it is a permanent staple available every Friday with “no stop date.”
The 3-layer vanilla confetti cake is covered with a rainbow of marshmallow buttercream. Those with a serious sweet tooth will enjoy this, as both the cake and frosting are incredibly sweet.
The slice is filled with crunchy rainbow crumbs, which provided a nice texture contrast to the soft, moist cake and smooth frosting.
Overall, this Rainbow Crunch Cake is delicious. If you’re a fan of all things sweet, we definitely recommend this colorful confection.
