Mardi Gras 2022 is in full swing at Universal Studios Florida, and we’re stopping by the TODAY Café to try our favorite treat from last year — the Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake with Cinnamon Swirl!
Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake With Cinnamon Swirl – $4.99
The cake is presented beautifully with two layers featuring swirled Mardi Gras colors and frosting in between. Purple icing coats the top with a mini macaron.
We love this. The vanilla cake is extremely soft and fresh.
The sweet and creamy buttercream frosting had a light cinnamon flavor which reminded us of a cinnamon roll. It really enhanced the flavor of the vanilla cake
We appreciated that the cinnamon flavor wasn’t overwhelming, and we enjoyed this more and more with every bite.
But, that’s not all! You also have the festive macaron on top. This was just your basic vanilla flavor, but we enjoyed it just the same.
This was so good that we finished every last bite.
We highly recommend that you check out this Mardi Gras Vanilla Cake on your next visit to the TODAY Café! It was our favorite treat last year, so we’re very glad to see its return to Universal Studios Florida.
