REVIEW: Gnocchi Poutine is a Good Concept With Bad Execution at Refreshment Port for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

While the Refreshment Port is a year-round kiosk located in EPCOT, this location has added three new items to its menu for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts — including an incredibly interesting take on gnocchi we’re very excited to try.

While the Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie is no stranger to the festival, having appeared at multiple Food Studios over the years, 2022 marks the first year it’s been offered at Refreshment Port.

We had high hopes for this, but these ingredients didn’t blend. The fried gnocchi was salty and very doughy, while the beef was standard Disney counter service fare. The burrata and cheese curds were of good quality, but neither strong enough to save the dish.

This is a giant, chewy chocolate chip cookie. Don’t expect something hot and fresh, but it’s good enough for mom and dad to enjoy a bite while the kids enjoy painting with the brush (and probably eating the cookie too).

*NEW* Blood Orange Cosmo: Vodka with Blood Orange, Cranberry, and Lime – $11.00

Drinks that look like this at Disney World are usually not the best, but this colorful premixed drink is better than most. It’s strong enough, has enough of the increased flavors, and is a nice size pour for the price, at least for an EPCOT festival.

*NEW* Original Sin Brewery Brighter Times Hard Cider, New York, NY (6.0% ABV) – $10.75

Original Sin Brewery describes this as “a cider made with freshly pressed New York apples and POG juice (passion fruit – orange – guava).”

Location of Refreshment Port at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

  1. Recommendation- stop letting Alicia review food. I happened to notice that they are the only one who seems to hate everything. Other reviewers are a lot more neutral 50/50. As a reader, I am no longer interested in any review by Alicia and don’t trust their opinion and taste.
