PHOTOS: Toontown Hills Return as Construction at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Continues at Disneyland

Back in 2019, we reported how the hills in Toontown were removed to prepare for the arrival of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Well, every day we’re getting closer and closer to the opening of the attraction because today, the hills are alive and have returned to Toontown.

These new hills are currently being installed on top of the show building of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Mickey’s Toontown will be closing in March for a reimagining to include new interactive elements. The land will then reopen in 2023 alongside Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
