The Hogwarts Express at Universal Orlando Resort — which transports guests between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure — is closed today.
We visited the King’s Cross station in Universal Studios Florida, where a sign said it was closed. Team Members said it did not seem the attraction/transportation would open today.
The reason for the closure is unknown.

I blame Bob Chapek
Pity the travelers that spent their money wanting to experience this ride, What a let down!!!
I came all the way from Philly on my birthday to ride the train. Ruined my birthday.
no ones tryna ride this wack ass train fr
🙋♀️ Any chance Universal will reimburse us customers who paid $60 extra per ticket for the sole purpose of riding the Hogwarts Express? Trip is in a few days. It’s bad enough I’ll have disappointed kids. We’re not going to walk between the parks. We’ll just use their main entrances on different days.
It’s not much of an attraction, but it is crucial transportation between the 2 Harry Potter areas. Potter fans in their long robes better be prepared to do a lot of walking!
Does anyone know when this attraction will reopen? We have a trip planned for next week.
I spent a lot of money on the Park to Park tickets because it is the only way to ride the train, and I have a house full of Harry Potter lovers.
We would have otherwise purchased single day tickets, enjoyed each park on separate days, and saved hundreds of dollars.
