Disney Files Permit for Construction of AdventHealth Facility at Flamingo Crossings

Disney has filed a permit for the upcoming AdventHealth emergency department building and parking lot to be constructed at Flamingo Crossings.

The freestanding location will be 19,522 square feet at the intersection of Western Way and Hartzog Road. It will be directly north of the Flamingo Crossings Village, which houses Disney College Program participants.

“AdventHealth is looking forward to the construction of a new emergency department located at Flamingo Crossings Town Center near Walt Disney World Resort,” AdventHealth told Orlando Business Journal via email. They expect to break ground in March.

The new emergency department will be open 24 hours, seven days a week. It will feature state-of-the-art equipment and include PrimaryCare+, a new concept that will provide access to physicians both in-person and virtually.
