Andrew Burnap Cast in Male Lead Role for Live-Action ‘Snow White’ Remake

Tony Award-winning actor Andrew Burnap has been cast as the male lead in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” according to Deadline‘s Matt Grobar.

Instead of playing a role featured in the 1937 film, such as the Prince or the Huntsman, Burnap will be playing a new character. Burnap is perhaps best known for his turn as Toby Darling in the Broadway production of “The Inheritance,” for which he was honored with a Tony last year.

So far, Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story”) has been cast as the titular heroine, while back in November, Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”) entered negotiations to appear as the Evil Queen. Mark Platt will produce the film, while Marc Webb is set to direct.

  1. I’m sure this will be as good as all of the previous live action redos. Not even waiting for it to come out on Disney plus.
