Though the Monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will not be completed by the resort’s reopening in a few days, guests will be able to view the new porte-cochère.

It looks like the thatched roof has been completed.

That being said, it is difficult to see progress on the other side of the porte-cochère.

Construction walls have been taken down between the sidewalk and the parking lot. The area is beginning to open up.

Inside the porte-cochère, we saw what appears to be a new chandelier. A net full of white balls hangs from the ceiling, so we assume this will light up.

Ceiling fans have also been installed.

The Monorail station is still full of scaffolding and painting has not been completed on the supports.

Protective sheeting has been placed across the rooftop of the walkway leading to the Monorail station.

Behind the Great Ceremonial House, construction walls have mostly been replaced with smaller crowd barriers.
