New trash cans have been popping up throughout EPCOT this past week, including colorful new red cans and contactless World Showcase cans. More trash cans with different colors can now be found in Future World, some of which have contactless lids and say “trash please.”
Each trash can color matches a different upcoming EPCOT neighborhood. The lime green is for World Nature.
This can had one of the altered contactless lids.
Not all of the new cans were contactless though, still having the swinging lids that were propped open for most of the past year.
World Nature will include The Land Pavilion, The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
These trash cans were throughout the World Nature neighborhood.
In what will be World Celebration at the center of EPCOT are blue trash cans.
These new cans have the contactless lids, plus the words “trash please” also in blue.
