Creations Shop, the retail venue set to debut this summer at the former site of Innoventions East, is quickly making progress. We were able to sneak a peek at the progress inside the new store; let’s take a look.
Most of the windows are still covered as construction continues. That didn’t stop our eagle-eyed reporters from spotting the progress within.
Just inside the entrance, work is ongoing for a wall display. A lift is in place for crew members for ease of access. Above the doors, you can see one of the large CommuniCore-style light fixtures.
Another angle shows some display racks staged in the store. These translucent fixtures are made with dichroic resin, which appears to change color with different lights and angles.

More windows by the mural have been uncovered, allowing a peek into the surrounding area. It appears more shelving is being installed under the mural.
The concept art below gives a preview of the retailed space. Projects often change somewhat from the original concept, but what we’ve seen so far indicates that the shop will likely resemble the art upon completion.
