As work continues on the new Zootopia-themed land coming to Shanghai Disneyland, construction crews reached a new milestone today with the planting of the first tree.

Walt Disney Imagineering shared the image on their Instagram account, which captured the tree being lowered into the ground.

Also on the post was another look at a new three-meter tall Audio-Animatronic Kevin the polar bear being developed at the show production center, where some of the most complex figures ever built outside the United States are being made.

Back in December, another milestone was achieved when the building for the main attraction in the land was topped out. When complete, the land will boast state-of-the-art technology combined with classic Disney storytelling. Zootopia is scheduled to open at Shanghai Disneyland by the end of this year.
