Shared today, we have our first look at an animated figure of a character for the upcoming Zootopia themed land at Shanghai Disneyland. Take a look below:
In the image, Imagineers are working on a large sculpture of what appears to be the polar bear Kevin starring at his phone from behind a podium.
Back in December, construction had reached a large milestone, and last month we shared that some of the land’s art is now on construction walls around the area of the park, adding to the excitement of the new project and giving guests a taste of what is to come.
The land will also feature a Sketchers Shoe store for guests to shop at during their time visiting. Disney has also shared that it will include a major attraction that will seamlessly blend Disney storytelling and state-of-the-art technology. The land is expected to open sometime later this year.
