For Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary on October 1, 50 new gold statues will debut throughout the theme parks.

The “Disney Fab 50” of course includes Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who will be in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom.

In this artist rendering Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are featured as special golden character sculptures in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. They will be joined by 50 characters as part of the “Disney Fab 50,” a new collection of golden sculptures debuting Oct. 1, 2021, across all four Walt Disney World theme parks as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. According to Disney Parks Blog, there will be “surprising” ways to interact with these 50 sculptures.
