VIDEO: More Details Released About Fairytale Staterooms and Suites on the Disney Wish Cruise Ship

When the Disney Wish sets sail next year, guests will be able to stay in fairytale-inspired staterooms unlike any on previous Disney Cruise Line ships. Among these staterooms is a Moana-themed “Wish Tower Suite” in the forward funnel of the ship. A new video from Disney takes a peek inside the Wish Tower Suite and more themed rooms.

The fairytale inspiration is new for the Disney Wish, which has an overall design motif of enchantment. Each room has gold-leafed headboard murals and framed works of art commissioned exclusively for the ship. Themed carpeting, lighting, and more will take guests into the worlds of classic and contemporary Disney films.

The Disney Wish will have 1,254 staterooms, 877 of which have a verandah and 451 of which have connecting doors for larger families. Most have a split-bathroom concept and all include a bathtub. There are enhanced storage options, including large closets and elevated beds. The pull-down beds reveal original artwork of a Fairy Godmother constellation. Rooms will also include some of the following: a 43-inch TV, USB and USB-C ports, a vanity, mini drawer refrigerator, full-length mirror, mini-safe, hairdryer, privacy divider, queen and pull-out sofa beds, and plush robes.

The Wish Tower Suite has two master bedrooms, a children’s room, and a library that can be converted into another bedroom. Monica Ireland from Walt Disney Imagineering compares it to the suite in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.

The Disney Wish will also have four Royal Suites inspired by Sleeping Beauty. There will be the Princess Aurora Royal Suites and the Briar Rose Royal Suites, each with a single-floor and two-story configuration. The royal suites include a living room, open dining salon, pantry, and private hot tub on the verandah. They have two main bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room with a third bathroom. The two-story royal suites have a spiral staircase, two-deck-high stained-glass frieze, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

There will be 76 concierge staterooms and suites, more than double the number available on other Disney Cruise Line ships. Most are inspired by Tangled, with a purple, pink, and gold color scheme. They can accommodate up to five guests, with living areas, king beds, walk-in closets, and two bathrooms.

Seven concierge staterooms are Disney’s first-ever staterooms above the bridge. Inspired by The Little Mermaid, these seven rooms will include extended living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bow.

The Concierge Lounge is more than triple the size from previous ships. It includes a full bar, kids area, outdoor terrace, private sun deck, two whirlpools, and a wading pool.
