Game Developer Shares Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Avengers Stand Prototype

On his TikTok, video game developer Bill Roper shared a look at Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel stand prototype that never came to be.

The first stand was actually sold, as an exclusive for the Sony Playstation. It was based on a monster available in the playset and, as Roper demonstrates in his video, could light up in different ways. All six of the original Avengers and Nick Fury fit on the stand.

This second stand only made it to the prototype stage, but could hold the reader and was a pretty cool piece to have displayed at home. Inspired by the battle of New York in The Avengers, two Avengers figures could stand on a ruined city street with Avengers tower behind them.

Roper also talked about a helicarrier stand that the team didn’t move forward on because it too closely resembled another toy.

Unfortunately, neither of these latter items went into development because Disney Infinity was canceled in 2016. Check out more canceled projects from the game below:
