Like all attractions reopening at Walt Disney World right now, Alien Swirling Saucers has implemented new social distancing markers to keep guests safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like all queued attractions, social distancing markers have been placed on the ground to keep waiting guests six feet apart.
The interactive queue elements have been turned off.
Signs simply state that the interactive buttons are not available for our safety. Thankfully, these elements being off don’t ruin the aesthetic of the queue, unlike with other interactive queues.
As seen above, there are now circle social distancing markers in the waiting area just before boarding. Parties stand near these instead of on the numbered stars.
With vehicles that don’t hold more than two or three people from one party, the ride itself hasn’t changed much.
We’re having fun at Cast Member previews for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which fully reopens on July 15th. Keep checking our homepage for more updates.
