Disneyland Resort Announces No 65th Anniversary Plans for Tomorrow at Downtown Disney District

While tomorrow marks Disneyland’s 65th anniversary, there will be no special celebration at the Disneyland Resort to mark the milestone.

The resort announced on Twitter that there’s “nothing planned” to celebrate the anniversary at the Downtown Disney District. However, the language implies that there will be a virtual celebration on Disney Parks Blog tomorrow, and possibly even suggests that an in-person celebration could happen at a later date.

Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this week, The Happiest Place on Earth’s 65th was celebrated with the release of a new merchandise collection, though it did face difficulty with high demand during the online presale.
