Scareactor Dining Experience Reportedly Canceled for Halloween Horror Nights 30 at Universal Orlando Resort

As Universal Studios Florida prepares for the arrival of Halloween Horror Nights 30, it seems fans will face a terrifying thought: dining without Scareactors.

Fan podcast HHN 365 is reporting that the Scareactor Dining Experience has been cancelled for this year’s iteration of the event.

The upcharge experience, which takes place annually at Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe during Halloween Horror Nights, normally allows guests to get up close with the Scareactors that make the event so memorable. But with characters currently being socially distanced from guests, it’s unsurprising that it would be cancelled to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19. As we face a Halloween Horror Nights that will likely be unlike any year that’s come before, guest and team member safety may require that certain elements of the experience be altered.
