PHOTOS: Rock-Work in Progress Spotted at Fantasy Springs Expansion of Tokyo DisneySea

It’s been a while since we’ve given an update of the massive Fantasy Springs Expansion at Tokyo DisneySea. Now that Tokyo Disney Resort has been given a reopening date since it’s closure due to the pandemic, not only do we have the reopening of Tokyo Disney Resort to look forward to, but also the upcoming Fantasy Springs Expansion.

Thanks to Twitter user @_Disney_mania_, we now have a closer look at the different set pieces that’ll be used to captivate guests in the upcoming Fantasy Springs:

Some of these set pieces resemble a beautiful, natural landscape. Could these be used for the Neverland Area shown in the concept art?

These pieces could also be used in the Arendelle area, as we can see from the concept art above that there are hills covered in moss.

Other set-pieces resemble brick walls and parts of the tower Rapunzel was stranded in. Could these be used for the exterior of the Arendelle castle or Rapunzel’s tower?

  1. When is the expected completion date? I was supposed to be there next week, but my trip has been postponed until July 2021, so that would be a nice treat.
