“The Jungle Book Jive” and “The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands” Shows to Resume This Summer at Disneyland Paris

With the announcement that Disneyland Paris is set to reopen on July 15th, many new details are being revealed about the status of attractions and offerings within the parks throughout the summer.

One of the most exciting announcements made by the resort is that performances of “The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands” and “The Jungle Book Jive” shows will still be going ahead this summer. Both shows are usually part of the annual “Lion King and Jungle Festival” which takes place across the resort, and while the festival hasn’t formally been announced as taking place per se, it’s great to hear that these shows are still set to take to the stage.

You may remember that back in April, performers from “The Jungle Book Jive” shared publicly via social media that the show would not be going ahead this year. The fact that this has now been contradicted by Disneyland Paris is obviously brilliant news, however whether or not different performers will be starring is unclear.

Last month, a stunning professional recording of “Rhythms of the Pride Lands” was shared as part of Disneyland Paris’ At Home “Watch Parties”, so if you want a preview of the incredible show then definitely check that out.

The Lion King and Jungle Festival was originally scheduled to take place in Disneyland Paris from June 20th through September 13th. It has been confirmed that the shows will not open immediately with the parks on July 15th, but an exact date has not yet been given. It has also been announced that the theaters which house these shows will be reconfigured in advance, in order to allow for proper social distancing amongst guests in the audience.

Will you be rocking out to the rhythms of the Pride Lands, or taking a colorful voyage through the jungles of India in Disneyland Paris this summer?
