The following resorts have announced their reopening dates at the Walt Disney World Resort. With many of the other resorts beginning their phased reopening tomorrow, we knew it would only be a matter of time until the rest of the resort reopening would be announced.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
August 24th:
Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
September 21st:
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
October 1st:
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
October 14th:
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Currently, no date provided:
Disney’s All-Stars Resorts
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Riverside
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (non-DVC)

The Walt Disney World website reads, “Given the current situation, there are some Disney Resort hotels and other areas that are not, as of this time, being scheduled for reopening yet. We will continue to evaluate the situation and reopen more locations when the environment is right to do so.
While these plans may evolve, we will be monitoring the constantly changing health environment and its impact on the state of Florida as we find the right time to welcome back even more of our Guests.”

Just for clarity…Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House IS the non-DVC side. Kidani Village is DVD.
Oh, no All-Stars, the cheapest of the resorts? They want us to spend more money? What a shock!
I wonder how many people got no warning that their resort stay was cancelled before the news was released
Interesting, so the only hotel closest to MK opening when the park reopens is Contemporary. Also, Grand Floridian not until nearly the end of September…maybe some construction/renovations underway? (aside from the bridges/walkway to MK)
Some NBA teams are staying at Grand Floridian. That’s why they’re waiting until the end of September. Same reason for Yacht Club not reopening until mid August and Coronado not reopening until mid October.
Pop before CBR before AofA…so, will the Skyliner open?
Currently booked at Carribean Beach for July… I wonder what they’re going to do?
What about Fort Wilderness campsite and cabins?
