After you select your room type, you’re able to add Theme Park Tickets to form a package. You also have the option of no tickets, which would make it a Room-Only reservation.

Do note that the Park Hopper option is available, however it’s unknown how that will work in conjunction with the existing Disney Park Pass system, which is slated to be in place through September 2021. No options are given for adding on a Disney Dining Plan, as those have been temporarily discontinued.

The Check Out page also appears unchanged, with the exception of the Disney Park Pass notice at the very bottom. Purchasing flights as part of your package are also no longer available.

For guests who already have a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort or other select hotel for a stay in 2021, please call the Disney Reservation Center or call your travel professional starting today to upgrade to a vacation package with tickets—and then make your theme park reservations via the Disney Park Pass system.

Existing ticket holders can make reservations starting June 28. Park reservations will be available through September 26, 2021, based on your Resort stay and ticket eligibility or ticket eligibility window.

Later this summer, based on remaining availability, guests looking to buy tickets and/or hotel rooms for the remainder of 2020 will be able to do so. No exact date has been announced.

  1. I already have a resort stay booked for Sept 29-Oct 3, 2021 for the 50th anniversary but wasn’t able to add tickets when I made it. I was going to try to add tickets today, but obviously the phone lines are jammed up at Disney. Since park reservations aren’t even available after Sept 26 do you think it’s even worth it to keep trying to book tickets right now?

    • After nearly 5 hours of trying to get through, to change my hotel only to a package with tickets, I’m waving the white flag (for now). Maybe I’ll have better luck late tonight or early tomorrow.

  2. I don’t see Boardwalk Villas for some of June 2021. Is that part of some standard blackout period for non-DVC folks?

  3. Got my reservations made for last 6 days in August 2021. Hopefully we’ll have some sense of normalcy by then. Hopefully will be able to kick off the Not so Scary Halloween party and the food and wine festival. Wonder if they’ll have the 50 year celebration started up by then…
