BREAKING: Universal Orlando Officially Announces Reopening of Theme Parks Beginning June 5

Universal Orlando has officially announced that it will be reopening all three of its theme parks: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay on June 5th.

Plans for reopening were submitted earlier this morning for the Florida Governor’s final endorsement, and have finally been approved.

Universal Orlando Resort plans to reopen its theme parks on June 5 to the public, with soft reopenings for Team Members starting on June 1. From June 3-4, only invited guests (such as Annual Passholders) will be granted access. The Hours of Operation are listed as follows on the Universal Orlando website:

Hours of Operation, Beginning June 5

Universal Studios Florida:

  • 9am-6pm Daily

Universal’s Islands of Adventure

  • 9am-6pm Daily

Universal’s Volcano Bay

  • 10am-5pm Daily

Universal CityWalk Orlando

  • 8am – 10pm Daily
