Welcome to another day at the ever-changing Epcot. We’re ready to make our journey around the park, navigating construction walls along the way.
The future sounds intriguing.
Who can resist a glowing sign and loud music? The Odyssey looks very different now on the outside and inside. Many guests are stopping in to check out Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience.
There’s a ton of posters hung around the walls in the Odyssey with artwork for attractions from the past, present and future. It would be nice if they’d make a set of postcards or prints with all of these posters on them.
There’s a detailed movie and model of the many changes coming to Epcot, so be sure to check out our full post. The setup is pretty impressive. There’s even some cute photo ops.
The flavored popcorn cart by the Imagination Pavilion is no longer serving, so you’ll need to make your way over to the Odyssey to get your fix of the 3 specialty flavors.
Tons of new Epcot Forever merchandise can be found at Mouse Gear. The shiny jacket seemed to be one of the most popular items and sold out quickly. The Tervis with Figment is really nice and one our favorite items. It’s too bad they didn’t make any pins or MagicBands.
There’s a brand new Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad 70th anniversary boxed set of plush. This limited edition duo is $59.99 and features Mr. Toad and the Headless Horseman. We found these in the Toy Soldier, but we’re sure they’ll be in more locations around the park as the actual anniversary gets closer.
There’s a new Oktoberfest pretzel purse available in Germany. The hat on the pretzel is such a fun little detail!
There’s a new Epcot Forever spiel for when the Cast Members briefly close the bridge in World Showcase. The bridge doesn’t go up, but they still clear the bridge and close it off while the barges pass underneath.
Now that the Cool Wash and Donut Box are finally open, it’s time to grab a Black and White Coffee Cocktail and get out of here. Thanks for joining us today, be sure to keep following for all the latest updates from Epcot and more.
I like your idea for Disney to make postcards with pictures of Disney posters on them. Disney has had so few postcard selections that I started making my own postcards to send, with a photo of my wife and I from a past Disney trip. There are places on the Internet and also stores that will print your homemade postcards for you.
