More fruit based seasonal treats have arrived at Disneyland Resort. This time we are headed to Smokejumpers Grill for the peach cobbler shake.
Peach Cobbler Shake – $6.49
Grab yourself a spoon and a hold on for the ride. This “shake” will not be able to be consumed via your eco friendly straw as those giant chunks of peach clearly won’t fit. But that is not a bad thing. If you have the will, there is a way.
The shake starts with a peach bottom. Huge chunks of peach are mixed in with a cobbler/pie type goop. These are good, taste fresh, and aren’t too sweet. The cobbler mixture is then topped with the traditional vanilla shake base.
If that wasn’t enough this is then topped with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs. Our pour was generous so we had to sip the middle part down a bit to be able to take the lid off and really get after it.
Be sure to mix thoroughly and then use that spoon to dig up the giant peach chunks. This “shake” which eats as more of an ice cream based dessert was great on a hot day. Not overly sweet and craves the shake/fruit craving.
Anyone who likes peach desserts or vanilla based shakes with a fruity twist should be satisfied with this. The portion was large so easily sharable. Just don’t go in expecting a shake to grab on the go and sip around the park. Will you be grabbing this next time at DCA?
